A Chinese famille rose gilt ground porcelain bowl, mark of Qianlong but later, of steep-sided tapering form with inverted rounded corners, the exterior painted with a continuous mythical scene of maidens, fruit, immortal and mythical animals on board gnarled branch rafts, sailing on choppy waters, all beneath polychrome vapours on a gilt ground, turquoise glazed interior and foot, painted four-character mark to base, height 8.9cm, with turned hardwood circular stand.
