A Japanese Satsuma earthenware vase by Kinkozan, Meiji period, of shouldered tapering form, painted and gilt with opposing figural panels depicting samurai and bijin with children, all reserved against a dark blue ground with gilt overlaid simulated brocade and floral decoration, gilt signature and applied paper label to base, height 16cm.
