A rare Worcester Two Quail pattern circular bowl, circular 1770-75, the black pencilled birds in a black rocky landscape between brightly coloured polychrome flowers, the inner rim with an iron red and gilt band, diameter 15.5cm. Note: a similar teapot from the Zorensky Collection was sold at Bonhams, 22nd February 2006, Lot 232; here they remark the colouring of the flowers suggest outside factory decoration.
