A pair of named view cabinet plates, probably Ridgway, mid-19th century, painted with 'The High Tor, Near Matlock' and 'Scene at Matlock, Derbyshire', pattern No. 2/9940, within gilt overlaid cobalt blue and pale yellow borders, underglaze blue and iron red painted marks, diameter 23.8cm, together with a group of English plates, including a Royal Crown Derby example with crimped rim, pattern No. 3563, a Derby Imari plate, pattern No. 37, Copeland and George Jones (minor faults).
