A Meissen figure emblematic of the sense Hearing, late 19th century, modelled after Schönheit as a lady seated at a piano, the shaped base with egg and dart type moulding picked out in gilt, crossed swords in underglaze blue and incised 'E1' to base with impressed and painted numerals, height 12cm (minor restoration).
