LOT 1248
A Victorian mahogany circular cased wall timepiece with eight day single fusee movement, the 10-inch mahogany dial applied with cut brass Roman hour numerals and gilt inscribed 'Crouch Worthing & Chichester', within a moulded surround with brass bezel and bevelled glass, diameter 38cm, with case key (lacking pendulum and minor alterations). Note: Thomas Henry Crouch is a recorded Sussex clockmaker working in South Street, Worthing, around 1870.
