A late 19th century French silvered and brown patinated bronze mantel clock in the form of a knight's helmet with dragon finial, the eight day movement striking on a gong, the circular dial with inset enamel hour plaques with blue Roman numerals, the case cast with foliate scrolls, strapwork and studded bands, on a tasselled cushion and scroll base, height 37.8cm (lacking pendulum).
