A late 19th century French gilt metal mounted and red tortoiseshell boulle cased mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate with stamped Vincenti & Cie maker's mark and detailed 'Rollin a Paris 1800', the embossed gilt dial inset with enamel hour plaques with blue Roman numerals, the balloon shaped case with foliate finial and mounts and glazed lenticle, height 30.4cm, with pendulum and winding key.
