A late 19th century German Noah's Ark, animals and figures, probably from Erzgebirge, the ark with painted roof, windows, door and frieze, on a flat base, the open side (lacking sliding panel) revealing a void for storage, height 43cm, length 82cm, width 25.5cm, together with a collection of approximately 264 birds and animals, including dogs, cats, zebra, giraffes, donkeys, horses, elephants, hares, camels, grasshoppers and swans, in pairs and singles, and eight standing figures on circular bases (paint wear, paint chips, some missing limbs and other parts, some parts re-attached).
