A Gandhara grey schist figure of Buddha, 3rd/4th century, carved seated, wearing voluminous robes, the face with heavily lidded eyes and closed mouth, his hair arranged in delicate wavy strands rising to a domed usnisa, backed by a halo, height 34cm, with wood stand.
