A group of eight Chinese famille rose porcelain plates, 18th century, painted with various floral designs, one of octagonal form, width 24cm, the others circular, diameters ranging from 22.2cm to 23.5cm (all with faults). Provenance: from the private collection of David Armitage, former conservator to the Department of Eastern Art at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, between 1970 and 1999.
