LOT 1848
A craquelure ice glass ewer with snake handle, probably French, circa 1850, the pear shaped body with domed circular foot, entwined with a blue and gilt snake, height 33cm, together with a matching goblet, height 19cm, and a small group of other ice glass, including two goblets with opaque twist stems and a perfume bottle and stopper with entwined green and gilt snake, height 17cm (minor faults and repairs). Provenance: from the collection of John and Poppy Stallebrass.
