A large George Jones majolica bird and pond lily jardinière, circa 1872, of typical U-shape, relief decorated with birds and dragonflies amidst bulrushes above waterlilies against a cobalt blue ground, turquoise glazed interior, impressed marks to base, height 29.5cm (some enamel flaking to exterior rim).
