A rare pearlware pottery zoomorphic model 'Neither Fish, Flesh, Fowl nor Good Red Herring', circa 1795, the hybrid animal with the head of a sheep and body of a winged fish, raised on a shaped base with brown line and dotted decoration, in Pratt colours, length 18cm (cracked). Note: a similar version in the form of a lidded container is illustrated in John and Griselda Lewis, 'Pratt Ware', p.242.
