Three Russian enamel Khodynka cups, dated 1896, also known as the Cup of Sorrows, made for the Coronation of Tsar Nicholas II and Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna in 1896, bearing the ciphers of Nicholas and Alexandra with the double headed Romanov eagle on the opposing side, within strapwork borders, height 10.3cm, together with two 1902 coronation commemorative enamel beakers (minor faults). Provenance: from the collection of the late Graham and Rhiannon Berridge.
