Full black morocco bound by Asprey, two purple morocco lettering pieces to the spine, g.e. Note: Rand's first major novel. Her main character, Howard Roark, overcomes obstacles to demonstrate that 'man's ego is the fountainhead of human progress'. It became a best-seller and was also the first statement of Rand's ideas.
