A late Victorian walnut circular wall timepiece with eight day single fusee movement, the 12-inch painted circular dial with black Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'Desbois 10 Brownlow St. London W.C.1', within a moulded surround, case diameter 37cm (cracked glass), with pendulum, winder and case keys. Note: Edwin Desbois is a recorded clockmaker working in Holborn and later Brownlow Street, London, circa 1855 until his death in 1917.
