LOT 1237
A late 19th century French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking hours and half hours on a bell, the porcelain circular dial with painted central scene of two children, within a pink banded border with black Roman hour numerals, the drum shaped case with scroll supports above a central lion mask supporting acanthus swags, inset with two floral decorated porcelain panels, on an inverted breakfront base with cast foliate borders and toupie feet, height 27.4cm, with pendulum and winding key.
