A mid-20th century brass circular cased ship's timepiece, the signed jewelled movement with platform escapement and detailed 'Smiths Astral... 15618', the similarly signed 8-inch painted dial with Roman hour numerals, slow/fast indicator and centre seconds, the case with glazed front door, diameter 27.5cm.
