A late 19th century French gilt metal mounted and red tortoiseshell boulle cased mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate stamped 'L & B', the embossed gilt dial inset with enamel hour markers, the balloon shaped case with foliate scroll mounts, surmounted with a seated putto above lattice fret panels to sides and griffon scroll feet, height 44.2cm, with pendulum and winding key.
