An Edwardian silver commemorative model of 'The Kemp Leopard', modelled standing with head slightly turned to the left, the body with textured decoration and spots, London 1902 by Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd, limited edition number '101' engraved to underside of left front paw, weight 280g, length 18.5cm, with an ebonized wood stand. Note: these limited edition silver leopards were commissioned by the Skinners Company to commemorate the coronation of Edward VII. The guild's crest is a spotted leopard, referred to as 'The Kemp Leopard' after Roger Kemp, who was Master of the Guild in 1680.
