Three Egyptian green glazed faience ushabti figures, Late Period, 664-525 BC, typically modelled with tripartite wigs and long beards, bearing incised hieroglyphics to front, heights 11cm, mounted on perspex bases. Provenance: Ancient Relics. The collection of Julian Bird, Bonhams Antiquities sale, London, 22nd Oct 2013, part of Lot 134 (see literature). Note: from the estate of a West Sussex collector.
