A William and Mary burr wood and brass mounted collector's cabinet, raised on an associated chest of a similar period, both possibly burr mulberry, the cabinet doors and corners with elaborate brass mounts, the interior fitted with an arrangement of ebony banded drawers, the chest fitted with four oak-lined drawers, all with feather banded borders, raised on turned bun feet, height 157cm, width 88cm, depth 55cm (associated marriage and some other alterations). Provenance: from the principal contents of Stone House, Bolney, West Sussex.
