An early Victorian brass mounted rosewood vanity box, the hinged lid opening to reveal a compartmentalized interior fitted with silver mounted glass bottles, jars, rectangular boxes and inkwell, London 1843 by T.D, the hinged lid interior with removable mirror and applied paper maker's label, detailed 'D & J Diller Manufactory...', the locking plate detailed 'S. Mordan & Co Makers', length 31cm. Provenance: from the principal contents of Stone House, Bolney, West Sussex.
