A Chinese yellow glazed archaistic dou altar vessel and cover, mark of Guangxu and possibly of the period, the domed cover with ball finial and moulded keyfret border, the circular body and pedestal foot crisply moulded in low relief with bands of archaistic design, incised six-character mark to inside of foot, height 25.4cm.
