A Chinese export silver three-piece tea set by Wang Hing & Co of Hong Kong, late 19th/early 20th century, comprising teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl, each squat globular body cast in relief with blossoming prunus branches on a cracked ice ground, maker's mark 'WH90' to each base, total weight 1166g, height of teapot 14.8cm, together with original silk-lined fitted wood case with sliding front panel (case with faults). Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
