A large Meissen white glazed figure group of gardeners, 19th century, after the model by M.V. Acier and J.C. Schönheit, modelled as six figures holding garden implements or flowers, one in the centre standing on rockwork, the rest surrounding him, raised on a circular base moulded to the edge with interlocking circles and foliate medallions, crossed swords in underglaze blue to base, incised model No. 'D97', impressed numerals '137', underglaze blue crowned 'FA' monogram and numerals '106', height 27cm (extensive faults and restoration).
