A Worcester black printed spoon tray, circa 1760, of lobed hexagonal form, decorated with the Arch de Triumph in Palmyra within a black line edged rim, length 15cm. Provenance: the property of Michael Godfrey. Applied paper label for 'Simon Spero Exhibition 2000', inscribed 'No. 35'. Note: the source for this print, 'The Ruins of Palmyra', was published by Robert Wood in 1753.
