A mid-19th century multi-tool pocket knife by Henry Boker, with various fold-out blades and tools, the main blade stamped with lion and maker's mark, length 6.5cm, with mother-of-pearl grips and inset white metal plaque, detailed 'Mjr. H.C.S. C.S.A. 1822-94' (both grips cracked), together with a group of research material relating to Major Henry Churchill Semple (1822-94), Confederate States of America.
