A late 19th/early 20th century Ethiopian saif or shotel sword with double-edged double-fullered blade, blade length 80.5cm, both fullers detailed with lines of foliate decoration and a line of inscription, the ricasso with lion of Judah, with shaped wood grip and brass pommel.
