An Elizabeth II Stuart Devlin silver gilt novelty surprise egg, limited edition No. 148 of 300, of ovoid form with textured decoration, opening to reveal a mouse peeking through a hole in a slice of cheese, with sprung head and tail, London 1971 by Stuart Devlin, weight 174.1g, height 7.3cm. Provenance: purchased from Collingwood of Conduit Street in December 1971.
