Thomas Lawrence - Three-quarter Length Portrait of Willoughby Legh (1749-1824) of Norbury Booths Hall, Cheshire, seated at a Table, oil on canvas, circa 1805, 125cm x 101cm, within a gilt composition frame. Provenance: the property of Michael Godfrey. A reference in the Coutts list records a price of £84 for a portrait of 'Mr Legh' and may refer to this painting; recorded in an inventory at Norbury Booths Hall in 1907; property of a lady, sale, Christie's, 16th April 1982, lot no. 92; Christie's, 3rd April 1987, lot no. 125; Christie's, 24th July 1987, lot no. 210.
