A 19th century French ebonized and gilt metal mounted portico mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate stamped 'Le Roy a Paris', the enamelled dial similarly inscribed and with black Roman hour numerals, the ebonized case with inlaid brass, enamel and tortoiseshell foliate scrolls, united by four brass line inlaid barley twist columns, height 44.5cm (lacking pendulum).
