A fine Hereke silk and gilt metal thread prayer rug, Turkey, modern, the deep claret mihrab with Arabic script border and reserve, supported by palmettes and scrolling tendrils, the two upper corners detailed with vases and birds, within a sand-coloured palmette and scroll border, 174cm x 104cm.
