Henry Wise Harvey - 'The Irlam West Indiaman in Carlisle Bay, 1814', monochrome watercolour with wash, signed, titled and dated 1814 recto, labels verso, 27cm x 39.5cm, within a gilt composition frame. Note: Lieutenant Henry Wise Harvey, R.N. was an officer in the Royal Navy and the younger brother of Commander John Harvey, R.N. A talented amateur watercolourist, other examples of his work can be found in the Royal Collections Trust.
