A Chinese iron red and en grisaille decorated porcelain vase, mark of Qianlong but Republic period, the shouldered tapering body painted with a scene of five immortals and two children, flanked by iron red and gilt seals and opposing an extensive black text and further iron red and gilt seals, the shoulder applied with a pair of moulded bat handles, below a short neck with black and gilt foliate borders, iron red and gilt seal mark to base, height 44cm, with wood stand.
