An early 20th century mahogany and glazed longcase clock, the three train movement chiming quarters and striking hours on tubular gongs, the brass breakarch dial with rolling moon to arch above chime/silent and chime selection subsidiary dials, the silvered chapter ring with gilt Arabic hour numerals, framing a pierced gilt fretwork foliate scroll centre with silvered subsidiary seconds and inscribed 'J.E Caldwell & Co', the case with moulded arch pediment above a bevelled glass door and side panels, on bracket feet, height 232cm, with pendulum, three brass weights and five tubular gongs.
