An early Victorian 18ct gold keyless wind open-faced gentleman's pocket watch, the gilt three-quarter plate movement with lever escapement, the backplate signed 'E.J. Dent, watchmaker to the Queen London No. 12401', the similarly signed enamelled dial with black Roman hours and subsidiary seconds, the case back monogram engraved, London 1847, total weight 96.8g, case diameter 4.9cm, with brown leather case.
