A George III silver tea urn and cover, the vase-shaped body finely chased with putti amidst foliate scrolls and flower festoons, framing an engraved coat of arms, flanked by a pair of ram's mask handles, the spigot formed as a swan with outstretched wings, on a circular foot and square base, raised on foliate scroll feet, London 1776 by Andrew Fogelberg, weight 3115g, height 57cm. Note: the arms are likely that of the French family of Galway with dolphin naiant surmount and motto 'Malo Mori Quam Faedari' (death rather than dishonour).
