A Chinese underglaze red decorated and moulded porcelain stem cup, probably Yuan dynasty, the circular flared cup rising to an everted rim, supported by a hollow simulated bamboo moulded stem, the cup interior moulded in low relief with two dragons and vapours, the exterior painted with a dragon chasing a flaming pearl, height 11cm, diameter 11.9cm. Provenance: purchased by the current vendor from David Bowden Chinese & Japanese Art, London, on 8th November 2013.
