A Sino-Tibetan brown patinated bronze figure of a bodhisattva, Qing dynasty, modelled seated in dhyanasana, wearing a headdress and holding a vajra, kapala skull cup and khatvanga trident, the pierced double lotus base fitted with a detachable flame mandala, height 53.5cm (some faults). Provenance: brought back from India in the early 1900s.
