A Mintons pâte-sur-pâte pierced rim cabinet plate, circa 1882, probably decorated by Alboin Birks but unsigned, with a central Cupid breaking free from an egg against a salmon pink ground, the otherwise cream ground gilt with scattered stars and dots within a laurel garland, beneath the gilt pierced rim, gilt printed and impressed factory marks with gilt painted pattern No. G8514, diameter 24cm.
