MASTERSON, Whit. Badge of Evil. London: W.H. Allen, 1956. First British edition, 8vo (184 x 120mm.) (Toning, mild spotting to fore-edge.) Original red cloth, dust-jacket (light rubbing). Note: the book that was the basis of the Orson Welles film 'Touch of Evil'. 'Whit Masterson' was a pseudonym for the literary partnership of Robert Allison 'Bob' Wade and H. Bill Miller. Provenance: 'Mr. and Mrs. Fraser' (inscribed from in ink on the front-free endpaper).
