A mid-19th century oak trunk dial wall clock timepiece with weight driven eight day single train movement, the 16-inch painted circular dial with black Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'JN Beale Oundle', the hood with swan neck pediment, glazed door and fluted columns, the trunk door flanked by fluted corner columns, height 150.5cm (some faults), with pendulum and weight. Note: John Beale is a recorded clockmaker working in Oundle, Northants, between 1830 and 1854.
