A Japanese Arita blue and white porcelain circular charger, Meiji period, painted with two peacocks in a fan shaped panel, figures on horseback in a scroll shaped panel, and a panel of bamboo, against a ground of lotus flowers and foliage, birds on scrolling branches to the rim underside, diameter 46.5cm.
