A Japanese Satsuma earthenware vase by Makuza Kozan, Meiji period, of shouldered tapering form with short slightly flared neck, the body moulded in relief and painted with ducks on a pond, gilt and iron red signature and seal within gourd shaped panels and impressed gourd mark to base, height 34cm.
