A pair of Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain vases, mid to late 19th century, each ovoid body painted with opposing panels of birds and flowers within dragon frames, flanked by smaller bird vignettes, reserved against a blue ground filled with lotus and scrolling tendrils in white and yellow, the neck with applied gilt Buddhistic lions above chilong, unmarked, height 25.5cm (one with crack to body).
