LOT 1055
A Chinese Transitional blue and white porcelain jar, mid-17th century, the swollen ovoid body painted with two birds perched in blossoming branches beside bamboo, rocks and insects, all beneath a leaf band to neck, height 12cm (minor rim chips and firing crack to base), together with a carved and pierced hardwood stand and cover (lacking finial).
