A large Art Deco Carlton Ware ginger jar and cover, 1930s, decorated in the Chinese Bird and Cloud pattern against a mottled orange ground, designed by Violet Elmer, pattern No. 3544, height 27cm, together with a smaller blue ground example in the Forest Tree pattern, height 16.5cm.
