A Meissen circular dish, circa 1740, painted in Imari style after a Japanese original, probably by Kretschmar, in underglaze blue, iron red, green and gilding, with a central vase of flowers, flanked by blossom, within a gilt overlaid blue frame, the rim with three floral panels separated by blue framing, the rim underside with three floral branches, crossed swords and 'K' mark in underglaze blue, impressed '22' and incised '4' to edge of footrim, diameter 37.5cm.
